Crestron HomeTime

Creston HT-CAM

Crestron HomeTime™ (HT‑CAM) is an at-home video conferencing system for use with Zoom Rooms™ software. The Crestron HomeTime conferencing system provides digital meeting functionality without the hassle of crowding around a tablet or mobile device.

Native Zoom Rooms Software Experience

Crestron HomeTime systems feature Zoom Rooms conferencing software that enables audio and video connectivity for at‑home gatherings with friends, family, and coworkers.

Custom System Control

Crestron HomeTime systems support custom meeting control designed in SIMPL Windows software. The custom user interface is supported on TSW‑ series touchscreens, TSR‑ series remotes, and mobile devices. The Zoom Rooms controller app can be used in place of a custom user interface on compatible mobile devices for convenient meeting control.

UC Engine Assembly

All the capabilities of a complete Zoom Rooms video conferencing solution are powered by the UC Engine (UC‑ENGINE‑SD‑Z), a powerful Intel® NUC Mini PC running Zoom Rooms software. The UC Engine Assembly (UC‑BRKT‑100‑SD‑Z‑ASSY) streamlines the installation of a Crestron UC system by providing the UC Engine on one ready-to-mount bracket. The complete assembly mounts to the wall or to the rear of a display device and is affixed with mounting holes on the left and right edges.

Crestron HomeTime (HT‑CAM) Key Features

  • At-home video conferencing solution for Zoom Rooms™ software
  • Custom user interface for system control from TSW‑ series touchscreens, TSR‑ series remotes, or mobile devices
  • Network management and provisioning, system alerts, and device pairing to the UC Engine through the Crestron XiO Cloud™ service
  • Complete solution contains the UC‑BRKT‑100‑SD‑Z‑ASSY, Logitech® MeetUp camera (LOGI‑960‑001101), and a 1‑Year subcription of the Crestron XiO Cloud Premium service
    • The LOGI‑960‑001101 camera supports 4K video resolutions. 1080p is the maximum resolution supported by Crestron HomeTime systems.

Crestron HomeTime HT-CAM-AUX

The HT‑CAM‑AUX add‑a‑room upgrade supports video conferencing from an additional room in Crestron HomeTime™ (HT‑CAM) video conferencing systems. The Crestron HomeTime conferencing system and the HT‑CAM‑AUX upgrade provide digital meeting functionality without the hassle of crowding around a tablet or mobile device.

Additional Room with DM NVX Networking Technology

The HT‑CAM‑AUX upgrade leverages existing DM NVX installations to support video conferencing from an additional room in Crestron HomeTime systems.

Integrate an additional room by connecting the included DM‑NVX‑350 AV encoder/decoder, the included Logitech MeetUp camera (LOGI‑960‑001101), and the desired display to an existing DM NVX network.

Key Features

  • Adds video conferencing from an additional room to a Crestron HomeTime™ conferencing system
  • Integrates with existing DM NVX® network installations
  • Complete upgrade contains the DM‑NVX‑350 and Logitech® MeetUp camera (LOGI‑960‑001101)
  • Video conferencing cannot be done from more than one room simultaneously in a Crestron HomeTime video conferencing system.
  • The minimum bit rate for 4K60 video is 350 Mbps. A bit rate below 350 Mbps may display a black screen.
  • 4K60 4:4:4 performance and HDR support require the use of HDMI cables and couplers with a minimum TMDS bandwidth of 18 Gbps. If 4K60 4:2:0 or 4K30 4:4:4 performance is acceptable, cables and couplers with a minimum bandwidth of 10.2 Gbps may be used. Bandwidth loss is cumulative; therefore, performance may be reduced when inserting multiple cables and couplers inline.
  • 3D formats are not supported.
  • HDMI connections require an appropriate adapter or interface cable to accommodate a DVI or Dual-Mode DisplayPort signal. CBL‑HD‑DVI interface cables are available separately.
  • Audio from one onboard HDMI input cannot be combined with video from the other onboard HDMI input. Combining audio from one encoder with video from another encoder is possible using the secondary 2-channel audio stream only. Multichannel audio from one encoder cannot be combined with video from another encoder.
  • The LOGI‑960‑001101 camera supports 4K video resolutions. 1080p is the maximum resolution supported by Crestron HomeTime systems.
